Do you see what I see?

Still looking for a headlamp with magnification that will let you see what you need to see? Beyond the Heine HR Loupe & 3S LED Headlight Set previously blogged about, check out the Seiler LED Loupe & Light Set.  Comprised of a binocular loupe (shown to the left) and LED light (shown to the right), it offers many of the same features as the Heine but at a more economical price. The Seiler LED Loupe is available in 2.5x, 3.5x, 4.0x, or 6.0x magnificaton with either the 2.5x or 3.5x loupe recommended for audiology applications since the associated working distances for these specific loupes are 10″ and 13″ respectively.  The eyepieces may be easily adjusted to accommodate differences in interocular distances. The LED light offers a very bright white and shadow-free illumination. A rechargeable battery pack offers seven illumination intensity settings, providing up to 15 hours of illumination when set at the highest setting.  If you are not sure you are seeing what you need to see, consider the Seiler LED Loupe & Light Set. That way, you will be able to see what I see!

Hi A.U. I am looking to buy a light source to use with my deep canal impressions and Lyric fittings. I am trying to decide between the Heine and the Seiler instruments you blogged about. Any other information you can give me to help me decide?

I love your blogs.. they are great because they are short and sweet and to the point. thanks!

      Hi Noel:
Both the Heine and the Seiler are great light sources; based on the reaction of customers when we are at different shows, we seem to get more of a reaction from the Seiler light source because it is a little easier to adjust, particularly if the intention is to share the light source with other colleagues in the same office. The second bonus is that it is less expensive so if I were you, I would try the Seiler; make sure that you order the light source and the loupe. If you need me to forward you a page from our current pink catalog about the product, let me know.

Thanks A.U. I am set… I will call and order it. If for some reason it doesnt work for me can it be returned for the other one?

You can return it to us no problem; just make sure it is returned with all the parts and the original packaging, etc. We don’t charge any kind of restocking fee so no worries about that. I hope it works out for you! Keep me posted.
