Visually Represent Audiology in Your Office!

Spruce up your office in the new year with some audiology-related artwork.  The Art of Hearing is a series of bright, colorful, and educational images of the ear designed to be displayed in your clinical practice as a  unique means of educating your patient’s understanding of hearing through visual representation.  Each image appears on a 20″ by 24″ canvas that is gallery wrapped, eliminating the need for framing. The current series offers four images related to Audiology including the normal cochlea, otoconia, the Organ of Corti, and cochlear hydrops.

The Diagnosis and Treatment Collection showcases audiology topics in the form of  20″ by 24″ gallery wrapped canvas with the additional availability of related take-home brochures designed to reinforce information visually represented within the artwork as it relates to  causes, symptoms, diagnosis and/or treatment options of hearing loss and vestibular disorders.  Brochures are sold in packs of 20 (5.5″ by 8.5″).  The Diagnosis and Treatment Collection offers material that addresses acoustic neuroma, cochlear implants, hearing aid maintenance, Meniere’s Disease, noise-induced hearing loss, presbycusis, serous otitis media, sudden hearing loss, tinnitus, tympanometry, unilateral hearing loss, and vestibular system evaluation. I love this artwork and would love to buy them for my new office, but since I am a BC-HIS and not an Audiologist I will not buy them. The artwork that just pertains to audi’s is fine but the Presby, one should have included hearing aid specialist, thus losing sales from all hearing aid specialist. If they re-do it and add hearing aid specialists then I will purchase one. Just my thought, love your blog.

      Hi Michael:
Thanks so much for your feedback; the artwork (and associated verbiage) was created in conjunction with an Otolaryngology & Audiology center; I will pass along your feedback to the vendor and will keep you posted on their response.
